@ THE HOLLOW STORE | Shop 2 Murray Street, Port Macquarie
Come along and join Cade & Josh in a nourishing evening of guided meditation / relaxation, didgeridoo & a plant-based dinner. The pair are bringing their popular weekly Byron Bay classes on the road, stopping at their home towns (Port Macquarie & Forster) as well as Bellingen, Central Coast & Sydney. This class is open to all, with no meditation experience required.
These ever-laughing young men have created a light-hearted class, aiming to ease you out of stress & tension into a beautiful state of calmness. They wish to cultivate community & bring people together through mindfulness, conversation and food.
The class runs for an hour, followed by an organic plant-based meal cooked from scratch by Cade.
Josh Hedge is currently 27 years old, a self-taught photographer, life admirer, and now author living in his much loved town of Byron Bay, Australia. Being constantly inspired to continue doing what he loves, Josh is hoping to be able to broaden the horizon in the way in which he can give back to others and all walks of life on a larger scale. Whilst he holds these goals that he will continue to work towards close by, Josh will always enjoy the simplicity in which life is to him. Whether he is travelling overseas or simply sitting by a fire in his hometown, he will always find beauty in something that surrounds him and turn this into a form of expression, with a simple wish that it encourages others to seek this very beauty that surrounds them, but ultimately within themselves also.
Cade McConnell is a student of life / meditator / plant-based cook with a philosophy of ‘consciousness over convenience’, a concept of going back to the roots, where food is ritual, preparation takes time and is created with love. using organic ingredients and seasonal produce, dishes are made from scratch and inspired by his travels to the eastern world.
Cade’s daily practices of mindfulness, yoga and meditation infiltrate his food. He understands cooking is an energy exchange and his mindset & intention is consumed by the eaters too. He is passionate about serving others and cultivating community through creatively nourishing and ethical foods.
Please bring your own bowl / fork & a waterbottle.
With Warmth, Love & Gratitude,
Cade & Josh
